Black Head Buster

I literally prayed to God that this Pinterest DIY would work. Supposedly, this DIY is a homemade black head remover with great results. If so, it would certainly save girls (and some guys) lots of money! To begin with, you need:

  • 1 Tablespoon Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1 1/2- 2 Tablespoons Milk {any kind}

  • I'm a huge fan of few ingredients:-)

The first step in this DIY is to mix the two ingredients together until they look like this:

Then put it in the microwave for five minutes:-)

Spread the mixture on your nose, and let it sit until you feel it solidify. After it feels dry, have fun peeling! This DIY was a resounding...

    White Toes? Without Nail Polish?

Is this real life? How can one possible achieve white toes without putting on white nail polish? According to Pinterest, this trick to turn your toes white should be used after wearing dark nail polishes. With just two simple ingredients, let's begin:

    You will need:

    1 tbsp peroxide
    2 1/4 tbsp baking soda.

Here is a picture of my sister's toes before the DIY experiment:

Okay, first mix your two ingredients together to form a paste. Make sure your toes are clean before you start this. Your paste should look like this:

Leave this paste on your toes for five minutes, and then wash off. Your toes should be pearly white!

haha it totally didn't work at all! I therefore proclaim this DIY a:

    Clear Ice Cubes

I took a great interest in this particular Pinterest DIY. It was a short tutorial regarding how to make your ice cubes clear as opposed to cloudy. Personally, I think that is an awesome trick! It seemed simple enough to start with...so here we go!

The first instruction is to get an ice try of some sort. I picked a pineapple shaped mold!

    Its really cute:-)

The next step is to fill one row of the ice cube mold with regular tap water. I picked the bottom row to be my tap water row. From the bottom row, I added green food coloring to the first three. (just to see if the color would matter in the experiment).

Next I filled a pan with water and set it to boil. This is how you get rid of impurities that supposedly make regular ice cubes foggy looking.

After the water started to boil, I poured the "pure" water into the top half of the mold. I also put the greeen food coloring into the first three molds.

Now...it's time to freeze and see:-) (Cue Jeopardy theme)

Obviously, there is no difference in the clarity of ice cubes whether you boil them or not.

    (the green ones are boss)
